I'm continuing to read the Lord of the Rings. I realize that I've been reading other books rather than this one so I decided to read it once more. I am at the part where Frodo is set to leave the shire and has a talk with Gandalf about the ring. The ring has a dark past. It makes the holder become obsessed and crazed. I am amazed by Frodo. He is willing to sell the Shire and leave with Sam his servant on a quest to destroy the ring. That means he would capable of doing anything for the benefit of the people.
Frodo is capable of doing anything for the people. He is going of to the most dangerous quest to destroy a ring. A ring of evil. Frodo is doing all of this just because he doesn't want the ring to be in the hands of evil. by this sense he doesn't want the people to suffer because of the enemy retrieving the ring. I would NEVER go that far. I would probably not care about the people and throw thre ring in the trash. Also he fights the temptation of wearing the ring and turning invisible so he can do whatever he wants. This proves he cares for the people.
All in all Frodo is a caring character. He cares for the people by trying to destroy the people and not wearing the ring. This book is overall great.
Nice job! This book sounds really good and you make me want to read it
