In the very exiting zombie apocalypse book The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman. It's all about a Kentucky cop called Rick Grimes. Rick gets shot and goes into a coma. When he wakes up he finds himself in the zombie apocalypse. He fights to find his wife and son and fights to survive this newly zombie infested world. There are lots of character changes. I personally think that when Carl, Rick's son kills Shane to protect Rick will change him and Rick forever.
Carl and Rick will change because of Shane's death. They will because right after Carl shoots Shane Carl says that shooting a real living person is different and harder than shooting a zombie. I feel this means that now things have changed. Shane was Rick's best friend. I think Shane's death signifies that they are now in danger at all times, and now they have to leave the world they once new for a world were no can be trusted and a world were everything is legal.
In conclusion Shane's death is going to be an impact on Carl and Rick.

Hurricane Song Post
In Paul Volponni's Hurricane Song the main character is Miles. Miles is a football loving teenager living in New Orleans. He lives with his father and and his uncle. Everyone is chosing to evacute New Orleans in fear of Hurricane Katrina. Miles and his family chose to evacuate out of the city put then evacuates to the Superdome. Throughtout their horrible time at the Superdome the relationship between Pops and Miles grew. This led me to believe that relationships grow stronger through hardships.
The relationship between Miles and Pops grew. For example in the beggining Miles thought that all Pops cared about was his music. But while in the Superdome Pops otherwise. Specifically while a gang started a fire and Pops franctically grabbed Miles and his horn. Usaully when there is a fire you grab the most important things. So this symbolized that Miles was important to pops and pops was starting show it more. Another example is when Miles distracted the officers so Pops could jump then Miles himself jumped to go with Pops. This showed that Mils loved his father that he would go and follow him and make him happy. The final example would be when Miles is wrestling a thug and Pops uses and breaks his horn saving Miles. Miles now knew that his father truly loved him and Pops showed that love to Miles.
This connects with teenagers because a lot of them feel like they are against the orld. More against their parents. They feel neglecated and feel that no one loves them. Just ike Miles. This connects to parents aswell because they might not know that they are not showing their child love or that their child is lonely.

TWEAK
In the book TWEAK the main character Nic is changing. From what I have read so far he has gotten back with a former lover Zelda, and has been continuing to trust God with his addiction and stuff. I truly believe that Nic is changing. I actually think that he is comitted for real to become sober again. I think so because he has been faced wih many oppurtunities but still doesn't turn in and he has a better connection with family that he doesn't want to hurt again. Nic Sheff has gone through hell with his addiction, and I think he wants and needs a change in his life.
I honestly believe that Nic can become Sober again because he has overcome temptation to do drugs. For example he was dog-sitting foir his mother. He was faced with stealing money and buying crystal meth. But he refraimed and didn't do it. I think that proves that he wants a better life. In the past he would've taken the money and he would've ran off to buys drugs. But he has more self control now. He clearly isn't thinking the same way as he was before.
Also he's going to stay sober because he really has good connection with his family and he doesn't want to ruin it. When Nic went on vacation with his step-mom and father he played with their kids. He felt that he couldn't hurt his family anymore. He saw that he was getting reconnected with his family and that he couldn't turn his back on them again. That's why I think he's going to stay sober. He now has a newly acquired willpower that will aid him in his new life.
All in all Nic is going to stay sober. He is because he faced challenges and overcame them and he loves his family too much to hurt them again. He isn't going fall back into what he was before. Hopefully he has the strength to overcome his struggles.

TWEAK
I have just been reading a fantastic book called Tweak. It is about a guy named Nic Sheff. He is a drug sddict. He ran away from home to live the life he wants with his heroin and his crystal meth. He ends up goin to Lauren an old girlfriend of his for shelter and pleasure. I'm at the part where he wants to go back home with his family. He calls his good friend Spencer and he goes back home to his appartment. I believe that he is going to relapse.
There is a thought that Nic is going to relpse. I kow because when he came bak to his appartment he was shaking, withering and feeling sick because of a drug withdrawl. I believe that he doesn't want to go threw it again so he's just gonna get some more drugs. Also in the book it says that before he has relapsed. He has been sent to rehabs and still has ha withdrawls.
In conclusion Nic is probably gonna withdrawl. Because of his past experiences with rehab.

Poem Summary Post
In Robert Frost's poem "The Road Not Taken" the protagonist in this poem is in his middle life. He is stuck between an important descision that will ultimatley change his life forever. When he finaly choses between two paths that are both wanting wear he wishes that he had a more vigorous life. That's what the poem is about.
This poem shows that meaning because of the meaning of the words. In stanza 1, line 1 and 2 say " To roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both." This proves that a man is stuck between two hard choices. He needs to chose one. In stanza 2 line 3, it says " Because it was grassy and wanted wear" This means the roads were both wanting wear. In stanza 3 line 5 it clearly states that " I doubted if I should come back." This all means that he had some remorse of what choice he chose. In the final stanza line 5 it says " And that has made all the difference." This means that descision changed his life forever.
This protaganists that made a choice between two and had remorse connects with teenagers because that's what they will go through. In life somethimes they have to make hard choices that will affect them greatly. Sometimes their choices are wrong. And teens relize that as they grow older. Then they start to feel remorse.

The Fallen Legacies.
I read a great book called The Fallen Legacies by Pittacus Lore. It all about the 3 fallen numbers, 1,2,3. They each have their own story. But what I was more intrigued by was number two's story. Number two felt a pain in her leg. This meant that the mogadorians have killed number 1. So she's next. She foolishly posts a comment "Nine, now eight. Are the rest of you still out there?" This was her death note cause soon after she was killed. I believe that if she didn't do this she would still be alived.
I beieve that if number two didn't post that comment then she would still be alive. In the book as soon as she posted it the mogadorians tracked her trace. The book said that the mogs have high tech that as soon as someone posts anything related to Lorien, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 they track. So that was pretty stupid putting it on the internet.
All in all number two is stupid. She is really stupid because she caused her own death by posting the comment that gave her secret away.

Lost Files Nine's Legacy
I have just chosen to read an incredible book called Lost Files: Nine's Legacy. This book is a sub book to a trilogy of books. Theseries is I am Number Four. This book is all about Number Nine and his Cepan and his legacies. Nine lives with his cepan, Sandor in plain sight. They live in a penthouse at the top of the John Hancock Center. They are trying to avoid Mogadorians. I believe that even though the relationship between Sandor and nine aren't the best they still love eachother.
I know that they still love eachother because of their encounter in the train room. Their in the room they usaully train and talk about upcomming challenges along the way. Their they have talks about Nine's personal life and his "girlfriend". Even though Nine does things that endangers both of their lives Sandor still loves and will protect Nine at all costs. Another example is when they are captured by the Mogadorians. They torture Sandor. Nine gets so angry that he starts going in killing mode. he ends up getting a Mog knife and he mercy-kills Sandor to put him out of his misery. This shows that they love eachother.
All in all, they both love eachother despite their various differences. This is an incredible. But I reccomend reading the book series first.

I am continuing to read the exciting book Darth Plaguies by James Luceno. It is an incredible book. I am at the part where Plagueis has murdered his master. He vows never to have the same fate but we know that he will suffer the same fate. I think that Plaguies is incredibly intelligent. I believe so because he made a master plan to destroy his master. Also he can control death and life. That takes a smart person.
I believe that plaguies is intelligent because he made a master plan to murder his master. To make any plan is all ready too difficult. To make a death plan must be insanely hard. Plaguiess went all out and devised a plan that was right to the second. It proved to be successful. Also Plaguies is smart because he can control death and life. That is impossible and whoever can do that has to be a complete mastermind.
All of those reasons are why I believe Plaguies is a genius. This book is great and I recommend it to everyone who likes a great action and sic-fi book.

Delayed book post Darth Plagueis
In this very futuristic book called Darth Plagueis by James Luceno. It takes place in a futuristic and scientific past in their galaxy. It's all about a young apprentice who is under the command off his master Plagueis. Plagueis is an incredible lord who has so much power. he has the major power to controll death around him. But does he have it to controll himself? It starts with his apprentic Sidious murding him. This leads me to the well known conclusion that power corrupts your mind.
The conclusion is true based on the chapters i read. First off, Plagueis was one of the best lords. he could've chosen anyone to be his apprentice. But he chose Sidious. So there should be loyalty involved. But being the apprentice of the all mighty Plagueis has it;s perks. He thought he was all that. He believed that he was even better. So that mind and his ultimate power led him to believe that no one was greater. Which corrupted him dearly and made kill his master.
All in all power goes into your mind. Seeps into your blood and has a negative affect on your choices.

Lord of the Rings #3
I'm continuing to read the Lord of the Rings. I realize that I've been reading other books rather than this one so I decided to read it once more. I am at the part where Frodo is set to leave the shire and has a talk with Gandalf about the ring. The ring has a dark past. It makes the holder become obsessed and crazed. I am amazed by Frodo. He is willing to sell the Shire and leave with Sam his servant on a quest to destroy the ring. That means he would capable of doing anything for the benefit of the people.
Frodo is capable of doing anything for the people. He is going of to the most dangerous quest to destroy a ring. A ring of evil. Frodo is doing all of this just because he doesn't want the ring to be in the hands of evil. by this sense he doesn't want the people to suffer because of the enemy retrieving the ring. I would NEVER go that far. I would probably not care about the people and throw thre ring in the trash. Also he fights the temptation of wearing the ring and turning invisible so he can do whatever he wants. This proves he cares for the people.
All in all Frodo is a caring character. He cares for the people by trying to destroy the people and not wearing the ring. This book is overall great.

The Last Olympian
In the very awesome book The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan the main character is Percy Jackson. Percy is a demigod, which is half god half human. This is it for Percy it's the final battle against the Titan Kronos. I believe that all of this drama made Percy change into a rough character. I think so because of how he felt after Luke died and when Annabeth was injured.
So in the book there is a part where Annabeth is injured because she goes to protect Percy. She loves him and would do anything to help him. The same with Percy. That's why after he went all out. If he was heartless now he would be without soul cause he changed. He wanted to finally beat the people that caused his girlfriend pain. Which proves that all of the drama going around led to Percy being rougher.
Another example is when Luke died. He realized that the person in the prophecy wasn't him. It was Luke. Luke died a good man and hero. Percy repeated that. He realized again that life was rough. This book was extraordinary which I recommend to everyone.

Lord of the Rings
I am continuing to read Lord of the Rings bit by bit. It's an exciting novel that really has me interested. I am at the part where Bilbo Baggins bids farewell. He leaves everything he has including his magic ringto his heir, Frodo. I believe from the little that i have read that frodo is a great heir. He is always there when needed and he beat Bilbo's supposed heir till Frodo came along. But I think Frodo is going to have rough times now since Bilbo left.
I believe to suspect that Frodo is going to endure tough times now that Bilbo is gone. I think so because the book showed an example. Since Bilbo is gone he left his will. He left lots of stuff to different people. So Frodo had to distribute everything. But of course he has problems. Bilbo's original wants in. He bothers Frodo into showing him the will. So he does. But theres nothing for him. But one sneaky little person still stays back for hours examining the of Bilbo, now Frodo. That's why I think that Frodo will go through tough times.
Lord of the Rings is an outstanding book. Good for everyone that likes a little adventure. I predict hard times for Frodo because of the ring. We will wait5 and see.

Lord of the Rings
I am currently reading a great book called Lord of the Ring. It is an amazing book that has many characters. Even though I haven't read much I can still tell a lot. I think that Bilbo Baggins is a very interesting. I think he is a strange character. Right now I'm in the point of the book where it was Bilbo's " one-hundred eleventy-elleven" birthday. He throws crazy parties and this one was no exception. Except at this peticular party, Bilbo aunnounces that this will be his last birthday party and then vanishes. Bilbo is a very interesting character.
Bilbo Baggins is a very interesting character because he has issues. For example, in the book Gandalf visits Bilbo after his dramatic party. Bilbo is insisting on leaving the Shire. Gandalf agrees but he has to leave his heir, Frodo. He leaves all of his treasures to Frodo. Except one thing. The magic ring. He thinks it's his "precious". Now I'm starting to think that the encounter with Gollum scared him or influenced him. But it's still creepy.
All in all, Bilbo is a creepy, weird and strange Hobbit. The book so far is interesting. I would recmend this book to everyone.

Pendragon 5 Black Water
I just finished reading this incredible book in a series of 10 Pendragon Black Water. It is an incredible book with the main character being Bobby. Bobby is now traveling around the different territories in order to catch the villian, Saint Daine. This time they are in a territory that has humans as pets and slaves and cats or leapords as the rulers. Now Saint Daine has brooken all the rules of Halla by bringing things from other territories onto other territories which is NEVER supposed to happen. Through all of this drama Booby realizes that in order to defeat Saint Daine he needs to change. So he does.
I know that Bobby changes because in the book it says that his friends go onto Cloral another territory to get an antidote and they bring the antidote to Bobby. But you're never supposed to bring stuff from other territories to another. So Bobby had to make a decision. If he wanted to to help the people by breaking the rules or if he shouldn't and risk the territory to crumble. He decided to change and to let the rules brake.
All in all the book is fantastic. The whole series is too.

Memoir never posted it
The smell of cigarettes just put out
intoxicated my nose. The toxic fumes were making dizzy. I was in a cab in
Manhattan. Today was the day. The day I finally had a responsibility. I was
headed to get my puppy. I had probably pestered my family about it for quite
some time, but the day had finally arrived. As I stepped out of the cab I rushed
in the door. The smell of dog treats and rubber were in the air circling around
me. I felt the joy of the dogs when they saw a new person. As if they knew that
today might be their lucky day to leave and become apart of a family. I ran to
see that dogs that where in the playpen.
Was amazed to see a vast array of different breeds of dogs. All the dogs were running up and down
as if they were in a sugar rush. My dad picked a dog and it was okay. But then
I saw her. She had white fur as white and fluffy as clouds. She was jumping on
top of other dogs, doing tricks and running like a maniac. She ran to me and
tackled me. Her fur was a soft as a pillow and smooth as can be. Once I had her
I know that she would be my responsibility. I knew she would be my dog and that
I would take care of her. I looked into her big brown eyes and I saw innocence.
I said to my dad, dad this is the one we are taking home. We did. We took it
home and she was mine. The day we got home and we had to go to sleep, I stayed
up with her until she fell asleep. But I took responsibility for her. At this
time all of this made me feel grown up. I wasn’t a child anymore in my eyes. I
had grown up. I didn’t need anyone’s assistance. This moment made me feel incredibly
mature. While I know that probably everyone else in the family felt annoyed and
bothered by the fact that I kept on saying that I was a “big boy”. But that
dog, named Frida was the key to me becoming mature.

DGDP
The book Drums, Girls and Dangerous Pies by Jordan Sonnenblick was fun to read. It's protagonist was Steven Alper. Steven is just a ordaniary eigth grader who is a bit nerdy. He likes the to plsy the drums and also likes a girl named Renae Albert. The one thing he doesn't like so much is his brother Jeffrey. All of this changes because Jeffrey is found to have leaukimia. He goes through many different situations regarding his brother. This is why I think that Steven matured throughout the book.
In the book, one of the problems was when Steven's family were having money problems. Jeffrey's treatment and hospital bills were racking up a lot of money. Steven wanted too help his family really bad. So that Saturday he went to his druming teacher and told him that he had to quit cause he could'nt spend that money anymore. Giving up something you really desire shows a lot of maturity.
Another example in the book is when Renae Albert came to tutor Steven. Steven was falling behinfd in math and needed a math tutor. So Renae went to help. But when she came to Steven's house she was sick. Now when you have leaukimia you have a really weak imune system. SO you can't afford being sick. So what Steven did to save his brother is that he said Renae couldn't enter. Steven has liked that irl forever and he had to kick her out to protect Jeffrey. That's pretty mature.
Finally the last example is at Steven's big concert. Steven had a huge drum solo and he had been practicing for it for a long time. He was going to be the star. He was going to have fame. All he needed to do was to go out there and do what he does best which is playing the drums. But sadly Jeffrey had a fever right before his performance. Steven could've stayed and played. But he decided to go calm his brother and acompany him to the hostpital thus missing his performance. That was really showing maturity.
All in all Steven's actions showed lots of maturity. He sacrificed many important things for his brother. The book was overall outstanding.
